Mot | What A Wonderful World
Mot - Volcano (originally by Damien Rice)
I really hope people don’t mind me posting these… I don’t know, I really like them! And another Damien Rice song this time!
Anyway, recently I started occasionally contributing to the website koreanindie.com, and few days ago they published my band introduction on mot/eaeon, so if you were going “mot who? eaeon who?” the whole time, you could go read it! :D I would also love any feedback, it’s my first legit article on the site and I hope to do a couple more band profiles, so! :9
Mot - Smells like Teen Spirit (originally by Nirvana)
what if I turned this into a Mot/eAeon tumblr what if more covers from eaeon/mot! unfortunately the quality isn’t the best and the recording cuts at an odd place (intentional, perhaps? after a couple of listens it’s actually kinda nice…) but ah what a fantastic arrangement.
eAeon - The Blower’s Daughter (originally by Damien Rice)
Few days ago I came across a stash of live recordings & demos of covers and unreleased songs by Mot/eAeon and…. oh god. This is eAeon’s cover of Damien Rice’s The Blower’s Daughter. Thought I’d share because it’s such a wonderful cover!

There we go with Mot again!
30 days of korean indie :: day 11; a song from your favourite band → mot - caffeine
30 days of korean indie - Day one.Your favorite song: Love Song by Mot.
Mot was one of the first indie bands I found and they became my favorite right away. Their songs are very easy to the ears and give me a feeling of melancholy from beginning to end, both the 2 albums. eAeon’s solo project is slightly different, but is just as pleasant as his work with Z.ee.
